What we collect
When you send a help request or partner inquiry, we collect what you enter — your name, contact details, ZIP, the kinds of help you selected, and any notes — only to respond to you and coordinate support.
How requests are delivered
Requests are sent to the LCE team by email through a transactional email provider. If online delivery is unavailable, the site offers to copy your request or call instead.
Ask LCE and the document helper
When enabled, questions and documents you choose to submit are processed by an AI service provider to generate an explanation, with storage disabled on the request. This site does not keep uploaded documents. Don’t submit documents you aren’t authorized to share, and don’t enter ID, Social Security, or account numbers.
On your device
Tools may keep your in-progress answers in your browser’s session storage so they carry between pages. They stay on your device and clear when you close the tab. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Sharing
We don’t sell your information. With your permission, navigators may share details with a partner organization to complete a referral.
